AQABA Technologies on pace for record revenue growth, to add 2 positions
May 22, 2011 Career Tips
AQABA Technologies is rebounding with the economy this year, and doing so with authority. The Sterling Heights-based Internet marketing business is on pace to finish a record year, allowing it to hire two more people in 2011.
“So far this year has been gangbusters,” says Ramsey Sweis, president & founder of AQABA Technologies. “Our social media and custom Web development has taken off. Our revenue has doubled.”
AQABA Technologies took its lumps during the recession, watching its sales go down 60 percent in 2009. That started to level off last year, setting the stage for significant growth in 2011. The company has expanded its staff to nine employees and two independent contractors, and is looking to get back into international sales this year.
AQABA Technologies is named for the blue resort seas of Jordan. Its focus is on web marketing and design, search engine optimization, and pay-per-click management. It is a certified Yahoo and Google ambassador that creates its own software and proprietary techniques.
